"We had a comfortable stay with the essentials, no special features. The location was convenient for parent of a college student. Parking spaces were inadequate for a busy holiday weekend. Hotel sign was not illuminated during our 5-night stay and this led us to get lost at night, but hotel quite easy to find during daylight."

The Inn at Ellis Square recently renovated Guckenheimer building (Circa 1851) is situated in the midst of the Historic River Front Savannah. The guest rooms and suites are newly renovated wall to wall and floor to ceiling in charming Southern Decor and feature amenities such as hi-speed internet. A concierge is on-site, trolleys pick up at the hotel a deluxe continental breakfast is served daily and Dominiques Lounge and grand fireplaces welcome you each afternoon. To reach River Street, walk across Bay Street and follow the stone stairs down to enjoy unique shops, art galleries, restaurants, and harbor cruises. City Market is adjacent to the hotel. Tybee Island Beach is approximately 18 miles from the hotel. For onsite recreation, the hotel has an outdoor pool. Guests will find plenty of destinations, from cafes to fine dining, in the surrounding area. For added convenience, the hotel offers meeting space, free local calls, free newspapers, ice machines, pay parking, wake up calls, and fax/copier access. There are 252 rooms on seven floors. Non-smoking rooms and rooms equipped for the physically challenged are available upon request.
